Na-R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid (Na-RALA) is the sodium-stabilized form of R-alpha-lipoic acid, a naturally occurring compound found in every cell of the human body. It is produced inside the mitochondria, where it acts as a cofactor helping enzymes convert nutrients into cellular energy.
