Alpha-Lipoic Acid 99% powder

Alpha-Lipoic Acid is an organic compound found in all human cells. It’s made inside the mitochondrion - also known as the powerhouse of cell - where it helps enzymes turn nutrients into energy.

Animal products like red meat and organ meats like liver, heart, and kidney are great sources of Alpha-Lipoic Acid, but plant foods like broccoli, tomatoes, spinach, and potatoes, green peas, and brussels sprouts also contain it.

The product contains 50% S-Alpha-Lipoic Acid and 50% R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid.

Alpha-lipoic Acid has a tendency for clumping. This would normally be prevented by adding an anti-clumping agent, but we do not want to add such chemicals to our products.

We believe that a better solution is simply to remove the clumps using a fork, spoon, or similar utensil and this way to avoid unnecessary chemicals.
